Mawers Print acquires Talbot Print, who where based in Post house Wynd and becomes Mawers Talbot Print.
Mawers Talbot print expand and move into large premises on Whessoe Road and change their name to MTPrint. Within the move, lots of old printing equipment and presses (similar to those in Beamish Museum) are sold.
MTPrint invest £1 million into the latest Heidelberg printing machines and software to allow them to streamline the business, offering clients quicker, quality print. In the same year they also invest in digital print and mailing.
Phil Evans and Phil Harburn take over the company. They invest in new equipment allowing them to move into large format print and offer clients more choice, such as exhibition displays, interior and exterior graphics.
